What Is Raspberry Pi?

The Raspberry Pi is a series of credit card-sized single-board-computers developed in by the Raspberry Pi Foundation in UK with the intention of promoting the teaching of basic computer science in schools and developing countries. Hobbyists, professionals and university students with computers and engineering background around the world found it useful for that electronics, electrical or mechanical systems due to size, cost and ability to integrate with those systems.
